USF Probs: 3rd Edition

Can we take a second to talk about the squirrel infestation on the USF campus? These adorable, bushy tailed animals are so cute until you almost wreck your bike to avoid running over one on the sidewalk! Maybe I’m just too city-girl to appreciate these little creatures running rampant. But am I the only one? Okay, confession, they terrify me. They aren’t afraid of humans at all. Let’s face it- if a squirrel was running after me for my food, I would definitely throw the little guy my entire cheeseburger.

Please comment and tell me if I’m crazy for being afraid of squirrels or if it is a common fear?! And watch the video attached if you want to understand where my fear originated.

USF Probs: 2nd Edition

Some days I love USF, and some days I hate it. Like my previous post about parking mentioned, sometimes there are just too many people in one place. The library is one of these places. For those of you who aren’t familiar, the library is the big brick building with Starbucks on the first floor, and for those of you who are, I am sure you share my frustration. Every time I set foot in the library there are crowds of people studying, chatting and watching movies. Not that I don’t love seeing fellow bulls spending time on campus, but when I can’t find a table to do my own work, we have a problem. One thing that has added to this problem is a reduction of seating on the second floor to accommodate a “writing center” (which I’venoticed rarely has more than 3 people in it at a given time). So how about a movement to get more library space for our growing student population, who’s in?
